Lam’s collaboration with Sasaki Architects on the Microsoft Research Center was recently featured in the publication Architonic. Lighting plays a crucial role in modern office design, and the lighting for Microsoft was designed to “correspond to different activities – circulation spaces receive rhythmic pools of light, while individual focus workspaces feature a more even light, and break-out spaces dedicated to more informal interaction and relaxation mix daylight with high levels of illumination.” You can read the entire Architonic article here, and read more about the Microsoft Research Center here.
