Lam Partners Wins Two 2020 IALD Awards!

We are beyond thrilled to announce that two of our projects have received 2020 IALD Awards!

The Boston City Hall renovation received a Special Citation for Transformative and Dynamic Coffer Lighting. After years of neglect and disrepair, a series of phased lighting renovations and upgrades has brought vitality and pride once again to this landmarked building.

The Free Library of Philadelphia received an Award of Merit for its bright and well-executed lighting solutions. Once a cramped and dark six-story stack space, the Parkway Central Library of the Free Library of Philadelphia is now a bright and welcoming oasis.

Congratulations to both project teams on these wonderful achievements! We are so proud to be able to work on such amazing projects.

Lam Partners a Finalist for Lighting Design Magazine Awards

Four of our projects have been shortlisted for this year’s Lighting Magazine Lighting Design Awards!

Autodesk is a finalist for Workplace Project of the Year; the National Memorial for Peace and Justice is a finalist for Public Realm and Landscape Project of the Year; and the Free Library of Philadelphia and SolBe Learning Center are both finalists for Integration Project of the Year.

Associate Lisa Wong named as a 40 under 40 Top International Lighting Designer

We are so proud to announce that Lisa Wong, one of our dynamic associates, has been named to @lightingmagazine ‘s Class of 2020 40 under 40 top lighting designers!

Lisa is an exceptional lighting designer, collaborator and mentor in our office. She has a contagious positivity that’s reflected in her work and contributes to our warm office atmosphere. Using her architectural background, she pushes the traditional boundaries of creating beautiful spaces by testing out concepts through software, mockups, and much trial and error.

Congratulations Lisa on this well-deserved honor!

Lam Receives Four LIT Design Awards

We are elated to announce that our firm has received four 2019 Lit Design Awards!

The National Memorial for Peace and Justice received a first place Category  in Visitor Experience & Museum Exhibition, and the Global Investment Firm Executive Suite received a first place in Workplace Lighting!

Honorable mentions include Beyond Walls for Street Lighting and the Autodesk Offices for Workplace Lighting.

Bruce C. Bolling Municipal Building named Silver Medalist of the Rudy Bruner Awards

We are thrilled to announce that the Bruce C. Bolling Municipal Building has been named Silver Medalist of the 2017 Rudy Bruner Awards for Urban Excellence. Lam Partners teamed with Mecanoo and Sasaki on the design, which included renovation and restoration of the historic and iconic Ferdinand’s Furniture building in Roxbury’s Dudley Square. This new municipal office building offers community space and a roof terrace that is accessible to the public. It is part of the Dudley Square Vision Project, an effort set in motion by former Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino to revitalize the Dudley Square neighborhood.

Bristol-Myers Squibb Biologics Development Building wins the 2017 ISPE Facility of the Year Award for Facility Integration

The International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering has named the Bristol-Myers Squibb Biologics Development Building as its 2017 winner of the Facility of the Year Award for Facility Integration! ARC/Architectural Resources Cambridge, Inc. teamed with Lam Partners on the design of this 230,000-square-foot laboratory and office facility, located on the Bristol-Myers Squibb campus in Devens, Massachusetts.
