Dan Weissman

Associate Principal / Director of Lam Labs

Dan is an Architect, Lighting Designer, researcher, and teacher. As Director of Lam Labs, Dan supports the firm’s endeavors in digital technologies, daylighting design, and academic engagement. Dan is the Chair of the IES Daylighting Committee, teaches lighting at Harvard Graduate School of Design, and is an active member of the IES Sustainable Design Committee and Solemma’s Climate Studio Product Advisory Group. Beyond the world of light and architecture, Dan is an avid musician and amateur luthier of mandolin-family instruments. He tends a garden, along with two very active children, and bakes two sourdough loaves a week.
