To support the consolidation of employees at 500 Ross Street, the second-floor café and servery are expanded and upgraded while maintaining the existing kitchen location to reduce infrastructure costs. The design introduces varied seating zones — including the Coffee Lounge, Town Hall, and Promenade — to accommodate daily dining, informal respite, and large company gatherings.
Lighting supports the distinct character and functionality of each space, helping to create comfortable, visually cohesive environments that balance social activity, circulation, and moments of respite throughout the day. Acoustic treatments, environmental graphics, and locally inspired artwork further contribute to a vibrant yet comfortable social hub for BNY employees.
