Lam at the IES26 Conference in Denver

Several Lam Partners team members recently traveled to Denver for IES26: The Lighting Conference, an annual gathering focused on the latest developments in lighting research, design, technology, and practice. The conference offered opportunities to expand their knowledge through educational sessions, reconnect with colleagues from across the industry—and one another—and spend time with the team at Lam’s Denver office.
Associate Principal and Director of Lam Labs, Dan Weissman, contributed to the conference program as a panelist for “Daylight in Transition: Digital Workflows, Human Health, and the View Outside.” The session explored the evolving science and practice of daylighting, including updates to IES daylighting guidelines, new digital analysis methods, emerging research into the health impacts of daylight, and the importance of views as a measurable component of daylight quality.
Together, these experiences made for an energizing few days of learning, conversation, and connection in the Mile High City.
