The Guggenheim’s landmark museum features spectacular galleries pinwheeled around a four-story atrium, including a temporary exhibition gallery the length of one-and-a-half football fields. Large and varied skylights contribute significant daylight; extensive scale model-testing and computer analysis enabled adjustment of the skylights to ensure appropriate illumination levels and direct sun paths.
