This iconic New England luxury hotel brand is now offering a warm and bright alternative to snowbirds flying south to escape the cold and dark winters of the Northeast. Keeping the brand’s timeless charm and elegance intact, this fully renovated destination resort introduces a contemporary version of Mediterranean-revival architecture. The lighting is carefully woven into the tropical fabric to help celebrate and accentuate the luxurious finishes, textures, and materials throughout. The lumen output of each of the fixtures is carefully trimmed through dimming to provide just enough drama, without excessive contrast. The many layers of white-on-white help to magnify the daylight throughout the interiors by day and reflect the warm glow from within at night. Its light-washed walls help to make this quaint oasis feel spacious and airy, while the assemblage of lighting effects helps to put the lux in luxury.
