Lam Featured on Lighting Matters Podcast
Dan Weissman, Associate Principal & Director of Lam Labs at Lam Partners, joins Lisa Reed of Burkett Lighting Design and Avraham (Avi) Mor of Morlights on the first episode of the “Lighting Matters” podcast. Dan, Lisa, and Avi dive into the Lam Partners design process and discuss how to communicate designs to clients, as well as discussing the strategic use of tools like 3D Studio Max to enhance client presentations, ensuring that what’s seen on the screen translates perfectly into the real world. Gillette Stadium North End Zone Renovation Featured in LD&A Magazine
The $250 million North End renovation project, which was designed to reinvigorate the stadium’s appearance and enhance the gameday experience for fans, included the installation of the largest outdoor curved-radius videoboard at a sports venue in the country, the G-P Atrium (a new 50,000-sq ft function space overlooking the field) and a reimagined Enel Plaza. But it’s calling card just may be the Gillette Stadium Lighthouse, a 22-story structure with a 360-deg observation deck that offers panoramic views extending to the Boston and Providence skylines. The Foundry Opens its Doors
The Foundry, a new makerspace for artistic learning and collaboration, has opened in Kendall Square’s Innovation District. The 50,000 square-foot, $46 million public space occupies a 132-year-old building that was re-designed by architecture group CambridgeSeven, with lighting design by Lam Partners.
